Amber Reiter founded Jazmine's Journey after her 16-month-old daughter, Jazmine, passed away from infant leukemia. Today, we turn grief into action—surrounding Arizona families with deep, personal support and funding pioneering medical research.

Diagnosed with infant leukemia at just six months old, Jazmine faced a courageous 10-month battle. Despite enduring intensive chemotherapy, daily blood transfusions, and bone marrow aspirations, she greeted every morning with a smile that inspired everyone around her.
She spent most of her short life in the hospital. But her family made sure it felt like home. They brought in her own soft linens, dressed her in her own comfortable clothes, filled her room with her favorite books, and sang to her daily. She participated in physical, occupational, music, and pet therapy—bringing beautiful moments of normalcy to long hospital corridors.
She loved singing and dancing, and although she spoke few words, one of her very first was her favorite color: "yellow."
On May 5, 2020, at just 16 months old, Jazmine passed away. To honor her name and preserve her incredible bravery, we founded Jazmine's Journey. We take the hiking steps she never got to take, visit the places she never got to see, and carry a legacy of hope and healing for every family fighting the same battle.
