Our Volunteer Family
Amber and Michael Reiter founded Jazmine's Journey following the devastating loss of their 16-month-old daughter, Jazmine, to infant leukemia. Experiencing first-hand the overwhelming emotional, practical, and financial struggles that childhood cancer inflicts on a home, they pledged to build a bridge of support for others navigating the same storm.
We are 100% run by volunteers. That means every single dollar, every donation, and every ticket purchased for our fundraisers goes straight to surrounding Arizona families with direct, compassionate support and funding critical pediatric cancer research.
Providing emergency grants, food cards, and daily supplies straight to Arizona oncology wards.
Partnering directly with Steele Children's Research Center to fund trials targeting pediatric cures.

Jazmine's Mom
Enjoys hiking, crafting, photography, and the outdoors. Her mission is to support families facing similar battles, raise awareness about pediatric cancer, and work towards a future where no family has to endure the heartbreak of losing a child to this disease. Leading with emotional and financial support to make a tangible difference.
Marketing Expert
Founder and owner of LM Communications with over 20 years of expertise in marketing. Born and raised in Phoenix, Laura is highly experienced in crafting impactful messaging strategies. Deeply honored to join Jazmine's Journey, she is eager to contribute her storytelling passion to help families affected by childhood cancer.
Jazmine's Dad
A dedicated husband, father, and Arizona Statutory Treasurer. Michael works full-time in the automotive industry and brings fiscal responsibility, community drive, and structural oversight to the nonprofit's operations. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, football, and great food.
Web Developer
A long-time friend of the Reiter family, professional web developer, and city support specialist. As a mother of six, Nina deeply empathizes with families needing support. She maintains the web presence of the nonprofit, ensuring accessible information and clear application portals. Enjoys hiking, puzzles, and Legos.
Graphic Designer
Our lead visual architect, responsible for designing graphics, flyers, event posters, and cohesive campaign branding. Johnny works as a content editor for an online university and devotes his spare time to fueling Jazmine's Journey with gorgeous visual materials. Enjoys hiking, Disney, Legos, and collecting Funko Pops.
